Wednesday Afternoon Trips!

Service Description

Four people can get in to most museums with an Access card or an employee ID – different rates apply to privately owned locations. Anyone who wishes to meet us at the activity/museum sites are welcome to do so. We will meet at the select locations at 2pm. Participants who wish to ride in our passenger van must sign up at least one week prior to the event so that we can purchase timed tickets. Visit museums, gardens, and so much more. We have room for 8 people in our passenger van, but you can also meet us on-site at any of our destinations if you have your own transportation. This will take the place of one Wednesday afternoon each month and will be in lieu of the afternoon art class. Please meet at Studio Forget-Me-Not! in Carnegie (329 E. Main Street, Carnegie PA 15106) at 1:15pm if you are registered and wish to join us on the van. Wednesday April 24: Museum of Illusions ($25 per person) RSVP by April 17 267 N. Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA Enter the fascinating world of illusions where nothing is ever quite as it seems. Join us at the Museum of Illusions and experience the unbelievable! Wednesday May 15: Pittsburgh Botanical Gardens ($2 admission with ACCESS card) 779 Pinkerton Run Road Pittsburgh, PA Explore 65 acres of outdoor, cultivated gardens and woodlands to build connections to plants and the environment. This family and pet-friendly public garden provides spaces to inspire and calm the mind. Wednesday, June 19 Randyland Museum (Free) 15-1 Arch Street Pittsburgh, PA 15212 Randyland is an art museum in the North Side section of Pittsburgh, it is widely regarded as one of America's most colorful public art landmarks. Check is out with us and plan to visit gus and Yiayia's afterwards for ice balls. Online pre-registration is required so that we know how many people will be joining us!

Cancellation Policy

When you register for a class, you are committing to attend this class each week for the entirety of the quarter. If you are unable to attend a class session, please let the instructor know no later than 24 hours prior to the class time so that a participant on the waitlist can take this spot.
