Really. Exceptional. Abilities. Caring. Hearts.
R.E.A.C.H., a program by Not Forgotten Home and Community Services, is a dynamic Independent Living Skills Day Program created for adults with intellectual disabilities.
Our goal is to provide a supportive, interactive environment where participants can develop essential life skills through hands-on experiences. From daily exercise in our on-site gym to practicing real-world tasks in our fully equipped apartment—such as cooking, laundry, and home care—participants gain the tools they need for more independent living.
But R.E.A.C.H. goes beyond the basics. We take daily outings into the community to help individuals apply their skills in real-world settings, from shopping and dining to navigating public spaces. We actively seek out volunteer opportunities that allow participants to contribute meaningfully and build confidence.
Creativity thrives at R.E.A.C.H. through our collaboration with Studio Forget-Me-Not!, a vibrant and inclusive art center where participants can express themselves and explore new talents. Additionally, our program offers engaging activities like gardening, plant care, and wellness workshops that promote personal development and well-being.
At R.E.A.C.H., we empower individuals with the skills, confidence, and independence to thrive—and we celebrate every achievement along the way.
